The opening ceremonies were AMAZING!!! Walking through the halls leading up to the opening ceremony had vibes of excitement and chants of USA that I had never experienced before. It felt like a dream when we walked out on the stage and with 30,000 people watching us, it is an experience I will never forget!! After we sat down all the countries were trading and everyone was taking off their clothing and exchanging with our people!! At one point I made eye contact with a Hungarian kid with a cool polo shirt from his country and I pointed to the American Polo shirt and we both took our shirts off at the same time and swapped! It was so fun and I ended up trading away all my USA gear and got a Venezuela visor, Hungary polo shirt, Australian shorts, Ukraine jacket and a Hong Kong Polo shirt! For some reason the Russians wouldn't trade with me (I don't think they like Americans)!! But that was one of the awesomest, craziest, surreal and most hectic experiences of my life! We got back at 3am and I was exhausted!!
